ARTISTIC BACKGROUND

After graduating the Danish Design School ( now the Royal Danish Academy ), I worked for 15 years with ceramics, mostly porcelain.

I then moved on to exploring the possibilities of working with wood and painted surfaces. In 2008, I designed the BAU pendants, which Normann Copenhagen later put into production.

Developing BAU started my interest in working with light and colours. In 2011, I designed the first plexiglass lights, DICIOTTO series.
