FAQ

  • Since all the lights are bespoke please contact the studio regarding lead time and pricing.

  • Once an order has been accepted receipt of a 50% deposit is considered confirmation of the order. Since all of the lights and chandeliers are made to order, the deposit is not refundable. The deposit is paid via bank transfer. The final balance and shipping fees directly to the transport company must be paid before delivery can be scheduled. Please allow up to 5 business days for a bank transfer to clear.

  • I often customize colours and constructions, length of suspension stem etc.

    For bigger custom projects I can make the plexiglass in custom colours. Please notice that this will add to price and lead time.

  • When a drawing and a design has been accepted by the client, receipt of a 50% nonrefundable deposit is considered confirmation of the order. The studio is not responsible for any errors client has overlooked after payment has been made.

  • All lights and chandeliers can be wired for US. We use parts bought in US that are UL certified.

  • I work with an experienced transport company that can arrange transport all over the world. I can provide a quote from the transport company upon request.

  • Since all my lights and chandeliers are made especially for you, I am not able to offer returns.

  • The lights are designed to be installed into a standard junction box by a certified electrician. I provide installation instructions.

  • The brass stems are self colour and un-lacquered. They are meant to patinate and age in appearance.

    It is possible to have the brass ware lacquered with a matt and invisible lacquer.. This will add to the price a the lead time.

  • Damages must be documented and reported within 3 business days of receipt of the light to  info@vibekefonnesbergschmidt.dk

    Damage claims must include photographs along with a written description of the damage. Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt Studio is not responsible for repair or replacement of damages reported after this time. If damage has occurred in shipping, all packaging must be retained by the receiver; failure to do so may invalidate any claim.

    • We are not responsible for the following:
      Damage caused by improper cleaning solutions or methods.

    • Damage caused by improper installation or assembly

    • Damage to the lights and chandeliers caused by improper use of light bulbs

    • Any cost of installation or re-installation or repair work.

  • In no event will the studio be liable for special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages arising out of this agreement or out of the use of the goods or for services provided by us, including, without limitation, damages or costs relating to the loss of profits, business, goodwill, property damage, or bodily injury, even if we are advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any similar claim against you by another party.

    The above exclusion of incidental and consequential damages may not be enforceable under some applicable laws, so such exclusion may not apply to you. In no case shall our liability for money damages exceed the invoice amount paid by you.
