DICIOTTO
The basis of this series is a grid of 18 interlocking circular plexiglass discs surrounding the light source. DICIOTTO means “18” in Italian.
The discs are built together with slits, all carefully fitted, and all discs are different, thus creating a lively yet balanced expression. The discs form a graphic composition of circles, lines and angles.
The DICIOTTO series started my cooperation with Nina Yashar and Nilufar Gallery in Milano.
In numerous constructions and sizes, I have made these lights and chandeliers for over 10 years.
The lights come in bespoke colour combinations and configurations, thus making it possible to make them a centre of attention in any space.
The DICIOTTO lights come in different configurations, from single pendants to larger chandeliers and the longer vertical lights with 8 lights sources.

"I allow an element of chance in the process so that I, too, look forward to seeing how it will turn out. I hope that this energy stays in the lamps, and the viewer feels like exploring what happens with the colours and the light – both when she changes position in relation to the lamp and when the lamp is switched on and off.”
